There are Redemptorists in 79 countries worldwide.

Of which, out of the 5,049 Redemptorists(!) there are;

Bishops: 53

Priests: 3,909

Brothers: 430

Professed students: 645

Novices: 88

The Redemptorists (CSsR) are one of the biggest orders in the Church!

Highlights
• The country with the highest number of confreres: Brazil (620)

• There are Redemptorist Permanent Deacons in 8 countries: Canada, Colombia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ukraine, the United States and Vietnam.

• The 7 countries with the greatest number of communities are: Brazil (101), the United States (58), India (38), Italy, Argentina and Colombia (26), Vietnam (24).

• We have only one house in 13 countries: China, El Salvador, Ghana, Guatemala, Kazakhstan, Réunion, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Panama, Saint Lucia, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and Uruguay.
• The Redemptorist bishops are in 22 countries.

• The 6 countries with the greatest number of Redemptorist priests are: Brazil (480), the United States (349), Poland (255), India (201), Italy (180) and Vietnam (178).

• The 5 countries with the greatest number of Brothers: Brazil (71), the United States (45), Germany (31), Vietnam (29) and Canada (20).

• The 5 countries with the greatest number of students: Burkina-Faso (166), Brazil (124), Thailand (100), Vietnam (80) and Madagascar (78).

• On the Island of Samoa there is one Redemptorist, a Bishop.

• In Cuba there are 5 Redemptorists in 2 communities.

• Considering the languages spoken or understood in the countries where the Redemptorists are present, the number of Redemptorists who speak or understand the 7 traditional languages for communication in the Congregation are: English (2,012), Spanish (947), Portuguese (701), Polish (532), French (355), German (302) and Italian (200).
