HRH Duke of Gloucester to Hawkstone CSsR...
HRH the Duke of Gloucester paid a visit to the Redemptorist Pastoral Centre at Hawkstone Hall.
The community, the pastoral team, the course participants and the trustees (EPC)
were all delighted to welcome Prince Richard as he arrived in a royal helicopter.
For those of you reading this from other shores than here,
HRH the Duke of Gloucester is a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II,
and the youngest grandchild of King George V and Queen Mary.
The Duke is an architect by profession, and he showed a real interest in the Hall as he was duly shown around
by Fr Maurice O'Mahony CSsR (the Rector) and Sr Laurice RSN (the Guest Mistress).
