Postulants Day Out!...
The Postulants in Liverpool, Royston Price and Michael Taylor, accompanied by Fr Richard Reid CSsR went on a day out recently that was not to be forgotten; lots of interesting things, including the Papal Preacher!
The intention of the trip was to visit the site in North Wales that is considered to be the "Lourdes of Wales" by the local signage department. The place for our pilgrimage was the Well of St Winefride's Well - "the only such place in Britain with a continuous history of public pilgrimage for over 13 centuries."

After the prayers were said at the shine, it was time to move on, but not before the group called into the convent above the shrine and were given wonderful hospitality by the Brigidine Sisters - thank you sisters!
The three moved onto the Capuchin Friary in Pantasaph where the National Shrine of Padre Pio is situated.

The day ended with a suprise when the three entered the friary - and found themselves in the refectory with one other person, who happened to be the Pope's preacher Fr Raniero Cantalamessa ofm cap!
