Br Fabrizio CSsR ordained Deacon by Archbishop Amarante CSsR...

On Thursday 7th of December 2023, two of our confreres, Br Fabrizio Podda CSsR and Br Gianluigi Colucci CSsR were ordained deacons by the Most Rev. Mons. Alfonso Amarante CSsR, Titular Archbishop of Sorres, Rector Magnificus of the Pontifical Lateran University in our church of San Gioacchino in Rome. We remember Br Fabrizio with great warmth as he was part of our Clapham Community for a year!

Bishop Raymond Mupandasekwa CSsR - New Bishop of Masvingo!...

On Saturday the 9th of December 2023 there was a tremdous gathering of Bishops, Priests, Religious and many Lay People who came to witness the Installation of the 2nd Bishop of Masvingo,

the Rt Rev'd Bishop Raymond Mupandasekwa CSsR

Bishop Raymond spoke about the privilege it was for him to be a Redemptorist. He recognised the importance of this now that he is a Bishop, and a Redemptorist Bishop.

Let us keep Bishop Raymond CSsR in our prayers.

In Clapham, London the final touches are being put on the Christmas Lunch table as we now await our wonderful Senior Parishioners.

Advent Spirituality and Resources...

Dear Confreres, formandi, Redemptoristine Sisters, Sisters who share our mission and our Lay Partners for Mission,

Greetings from Rome from the Spirituality Commission. As we prepare to begin the season of Advent, we send you a series of 4 reflections for the 4 weeks of Advent for personal and community reflection and sharing as we journey through our year on the theme of our Redemptorist Community Life.

These reflections/meditations have been prepared by Fr Krzysztof Bielinski, C.SS.R, Professor of Sacred Scripture in the Alphonsian Academy.

The theme is, “Biblical Testimonies for Advent” reflecting on the lives of amazing Biblical personalities and their faith journey. May these reflections inspire us personally and in community to live this Advent growing deeper into our relationship with the Lord Jesus, Our Redeemer who is the very core of our Redemptorist Community life. May we grow to be truly Missionaries of Hope in the footsteps of the Redeemer in this season of Hope, Advent!
