Missions
Parish Missions:
Our present parish missions are about putting new heart into the disciple already present. Affirming and encouraging them to be witnesses to a broken world. They are also about outreach to those on the margins, and to those within the faith communities who are unsure of the road ahead.
Depending on the type of mission employed within the parish, the emphasis may rest more heavily on building up or outreach. One thing is certain, however, the Holy Spirit works in a special way during a mission experience, touching people in a way that I believe no parish programme can.”
A Parish Mission is a time for Renewal, Growth,Celebration and Empowerment.
And a time to deepen faith, unite parish communities, share the Good News, reach out in the Spirit.

In Memoriam
Requiescant in Pace
For our brothers who have gone to God before us, we thank the Lord for their lives and ministry and pray that they might truly know God's eternal presence and peace. May they rest in peace and rise in glory.
Eternal rest, grant unto them them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace!
Amen.
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;
Lord Hear my voice!
Let you ears be attentive
to the voice of pleading.
If you O Lord mark our guilt
Lord who would survive?
But with you is forgiveness
and for this we revere you.
I trust in the Lord;
My soul trusts in his word
My soul waits for the Lord
More than the watchman for daybreak
As the watchman awaits for the daybreak
Let Israel await for the Lord
For with the Lord is kindness
and with him is plentiful redemption;
And he will redeem Israel
from all their inquities.

What we do
Ministry
We honour our fellow religious of the past, our heritage and tradition, by continuing the gospel message of plentiful redemption for all. We do this through working directly with people searching for truth and love.
"His calling is a declaration of love. Your response is commitment, friendship, and love manifested in the gift of your own life."
In the UK we do this through pastoral ministry, in our preaching and sharing ministry, in inner city mission, in parish renewal through retreats and missions, in our life giving writing, in our dedication to study especially the ethical questions of our day, and the answers found in the good news of Jesus Christ. In the tradition of Alphonsus we are especially proud of our healing places; our international pastoral centres and places of renewal.
He longs to be known by you, to be loved by you, to be embraced by you. He is born in your flesh, to make himself like you. The infinite God has made himself a child, has made himself small and humble, so as to be loved and imitated by you. From love he is born in a stable and will die on a cross. Be silent, then, and wonder at such love.
We believe that our unique identity is in the way we see things and in the different ways we reach out to people. There is no one path followed by all Redemptorists, but there is one goal: To defend our joy in Jesus Christ and to bring to others ‘Plentiful Redemption’.
